Psychsearch.net	Olanzapine is practically insoluble in water.  A 1-milligram per milliliter (mg/mL) suspension prepared from crushed tablets in a pediatric mixture base was found to be stable for 14 days when stored in a refrigerator and protected from light (Harvey et al, 2000). When breaking or crushing olanzapine tablets it is recommended to wear gloves and wash hands before and after exposure (Personal Communication, 2001).
