MCT Oil : Administration

Availability: 50ml Bottle

Dosing:

• Children : 5-10ml TDS
• Adults : 15ml TDS
• Can be mixed with milk, fruit juices or added onto salads and vegetables
• Not to be stored in plastic containers or utensils

Enteral Administration

• No specific guide on administration via Ryles Tube
• However numerous practices uses MCT oils as additional supplementations to enteral feed
• To be mixed with either feed or milk. Administer solution and flush the tube after completion to avoid blockage.
