Dose of IV dexamethasone for compressive myeloradiculopathy

For spinal cord compression:

• 10 to 100mg (usually 10 mg) iv stat; followed by 4-24mg iv q6h for several days. 
• The dose need to tapered gradually by one third every 3-4days.
