Initial, 25g IV (125ml of 20% solution)
Usual dose= 50-75g (250-375ml of 20% solution),
additional doses may be given as clinically indicated.
Max 2g/kg/day
Rate of administration should not exceed 2ml/min
12-16 y/o :50-75g IV

Children 0.25-0.5 g/kg
